Renovation of a Residential Building into Serviced Apartments

A redevelopment project of a 4-storey residential building, originally consisting of two apartments per floor. The main task was to reconfigure the layout into multiple studio units to increase the number of rentable spaces, targeting the Airbnb business segment in a high-traffic tourist area. We successfully redesigned the building to accommodate four fully functional studio apartments per floor — each offering comfortable living conditions for both short-term stays and extended stays over a month.

The result is a compact yet refined living experience, blending unique style with high rental potential and operational efficiency.
The interior is designed in a minimalist, architectural aesthetic with a focus on material texture, light, and spatial clarity. The combination of contemporary minimalism and soft brutalism creates a restrained yet warm and expressive atmosphere.
The space offers a sense of comfort without visual overload. Every element follows the core idea: simplicity as intentional design, not the absence of comfort. Despite the compact layout, the interior feels airy, balanced, and suitable for both short-term and long-term stays.
